Targeted Brownfields Assessments for EPA

ARGO and its subcontractor EA ES&T conducts Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, background and historical investigation, preliminary site inspections, sampling for contaminants, identification of cleanup options and cost estimates based on future uses and redevelop plans.

Worldwide Environmental Remediation & Construction (WERC09)

• ARGO/LRS Joint Venture awarded SDVOSB portion of multiple award contract
• Conduct environmental remediation and performance based contracting
• Conduct world wide construction activities

Inflow and Infiltration (I & I) Assessment at Navy Facilities

• ARGO is conducting I&I assessment of sanitary basins at NSA Annapolis, Indian Head and NAS Patuxent River
• Conducting manhole inspection, smoke testing and CCTV inspections of over 375,000 linear feet of piping and 1,400 manholes
• Preparing test reports and video documentation

Oyster Restoration, Delaware Bay

ARGO was awarded a multi-phased shell planting and transplanting program to improve oyster population in the Delaware Bay. The project included the planting of approximately 2 million bushels of clam shell (surf clam and quahog) onto the bay bottom to promote oyster recruitment.

Enhanced Use Lease Advisory Services, Veterans Affairs

ARGO provided environmental planning and engineering support to the VA’s Enhanced Use Lease Program. This support includes environmental site assessments, NEPA documentation, historic impact assessments, zoning issues, and other engineering and facility analysis required to support the development of a RFP to the developer community.

Asbestos Remediation, Washington Navy Yard

• ARGO conducted a quick reaction remediation of a crawl space of an occupied building
• Developed safety plan and IH oversight
• Conducted soil encapsulation and finished with a fiber reinforced concrete
